Ma started her career as a DJ at the age of 17 playing in queer clubs in Brazil. She was the resident DJ at Casa do Lado Nightclub and played in various clubs in her hometown.

Since moving to New York, she has been exploring Afrohouse, Afrobeats, Latin pop, Brazilian funk, and Brazilian house.

She performed at Rubulad, Wet Spot, and Miss Favela, and currently DJs for the French TV network TV5monde.
